So I called the doctor yesterday because I had this big, red welt on my arm where they had given me the flu shot. It was the size of my fist and looked like I had been punched, not been given a shot. It also was a little swollen, warm to the touch and sore as all hell. The doctor thought that I may have been having an allergic reaction to the shot and told me to take motrin and Benadryl. I started do that and this morning I woke up – it’s still a little red, a little warm, itchy as all hell and my arm still is a little sore. I think that the swelling has gone down though.
It’s been crazy warm here the last few days – it was 70 last night and really muggy. Talk about global warming…and no, Ms. Palin, it’s not just G-d hugging us closer. 😉
