ear infections

I swear – do all little kids that are in daycare get ear infections?  I mean, just this fall, Nate has already had two of them! He’s on this new antibiotic – new for him anyways – and they were talking maybe tubes if it becomes more regular. My mom said that I was like that too. They had to take me to an ear nose and throat specialist who ended up recommending allergy shots as a last resort and they worked, so I never had to get tubes. Thankfully. I think that my parents bringing me to the warmth of Florida during the winter in the northeast probably helped too.  Being at Disney didn’t hurt either. 😛

I also have to say that I love social functions that relate to work. I love networking and talking to people. I think that is the best part of my job by far. I get to interact with cool, funny people on many different levels and I love it. I had one this afternoon and it was so much fun. It was a nice release after an intense meeting at work.

These next few weeks are going to shape up to be interesting I think on a lot of levels…

I love work social events too! Last night was our Christmas party which I had to miss for a few reasons. I was so disappointed because they’re always fun!!
