Whoever thought it was a good idea to be in their third trimester during the humidity of a New England summer needs their head checked, because it’s miserable. The last few days have been miserable. It’s been really hot and humid and on Thursday, I swear our AC at work wasn’t working. And I wasn’t the only one to think that either. It was so bad that at one point, I thought that I wasn’t going to be able to breathe – my asthma was totally going into overdrive. I’m now carrying the Albuterol around, which I never had to do before. The boot doesn’t help either – makes me hotter!
I have ambitious plans for this weekend – our house needs to be tidied up a little bit. It’s just really cluttered, so I just want to organize it a little bit better. I also want to go to the farmer’s market tomorrow to get some stuff. And watch the United States beat Ghana in the Round of 16 in the World Cup today (::fingers crossed::). I need to catch up on some reviews too.
I did manage to finish a review of Netherland by Joseph O’Neill. Please head on over to check it out.
